Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. The actress was initially famous for her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred along with an established actor Anil Koopor. Her next appearance on the screen was in Dil along with Aamir. The daughter of a middle class family in Mumbai she started learning dancing at a young age. When she was in her early years as she began to act as a child actress, most of the films she created weren't successful. Eventually she became one the biggest actresses of Indian film. Following her marriage she had a break in her career before re-entering the business. In the past, she was an important character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women across India. Dixit won eight Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit. It is India's fourth highest civil honor. Also, she is well known for her charitable works.
